What should you bring along for your stay?

Administration

  • Identity card.
  • Date of your health Insurance.
  • If you have hospitalisation insurance: name of the company + card (DKV, Medi-Assistance, Medi-Link, Assurcard, ...).
  • In the event of an industrial accident:
    • date of the accident
    • policy number
    • name and address of the employer and of the insurance company
  • Name, address and phone number of the person to whom we can turn to during your stay.
  • If appropriate: a payment undertaking from the OCMW (public welfare centre) or a payment from an insurance body
  • If you have a foreign domicile: the form of your foreign health insurance.
  • If appropriate, the number of the Fund for Occupational Diseases or the Institute for War Veterans.  
  • On admission you will be asked to pay a deposit for:
    • a shared room: max. 150 euro;
    • a single room: 300 euro;
    • luxury room maternity ward: 400 euro.

For safety reasons we ask you to pay with Bancontact, Visa or Mastercard.

Medical

  • Lettre from family doctor or referring doctor
  • Recent x-rays, ...
  • Blood typer card
  • Medication you are currently taking

Personally

  • Outer clothing and underwear
  • Personal toiletries
  • Night wear
  • Slippers
  • Reading

Please be carefull with money and valuables

We recommend to leave valuables at home. The hospital is not responsable for loss or theft of the property of patients.

Every room has an individual safe for your valuables. Never leave your wallet, handbag or valuables unattended in the room.
